Re: Are we ready for "Recall" provision?


Recall sounds like a perfect solution but in a democracy accountability is
probably more important. For a nation like India where politics are
practiced with the spirit of mudslinging and brickbating, this will be a
tool that will be more misused than used in the true spirit. Furthermore, in
my opinion will prove to be more expensive within our limited means.

In my opinion, we should focus on getting elected officials more
accountable. The RECALL will take care of itself.
