RE: Satish Vemana In India

Dear All,

Be optimistic and think positive, if fellow Indian (Andhra guy) is trying to
do something for our state (irrespective of region), let him do it. If
possible try to help him, but stop criticizing.

As per my knowledge, he is the one in Verizon who took active participation
for Tsunami Relief fund. He is constantly in touch with aid groups and
Verizon foundation staff and contributed his share in coming up with the
plan to match employee contributions 2 for 1 instead of 1 for 1. I
personally saw him going to cube to cube, encouraging all employees to
donate a min. of $100. Verizon Communications Inc. topped all other
corporate divisions in Tsunami donation list. So I think it is a major
amount and major achievement.

BTW, even after reading the article couple of times I am unable to figure
out where it said TANA connected to Verizon? Can someone shed a light?

I appreciate what Satish is doing, as we all know that lot of people here
talks, never opens their pockets. So my suggestion is leave your
insecurities at the door, which will put your best face forward.

Regards,
Satya Surapaneni
