"Democracy is meaning less without education"- Re: cash-for-query scam

Nobody is a saint. There is corruption in US, India, and for that matter all
over the world.

All of us including Cogressmen, senators, VP, and President pay taxes in US.
Many of these people have to submit a lengthy financial disclosure forms,
declare their assets, income, FBI background check etc to get appointed to
high positions in the govenrnment. Imagine CBI doing a background check for
similar positions in India !!!!

We don't hear somebdoy bribing a Police officer, prosecutor, judge, jury,
auditors, and government employees in US. Imagine that in India !!

If 90% of employees are corrupt in US, this country will not look like the
way it is now. There may be some kickbacks happening in private industry,
but we hardly see it happening in the government.

None of the western socities will tolerate the amount of corruption we have
in India. They are definitely not saints. Obviously, they are not 90%
corrupt !!

"Democracy is meaning less without education". That's the reason why
democratic system is not working for all citizens in India while working
well in western countries !!!
