Re: New trend of YS Govt.

Couple of things from this email chain:

1)
Y. S Government is doing things in a vengeful manner against the previous
government.:
This is case with all governemnts irrespective of the party. No one can
escape from this one. All governemts does corruption and it is a know fact
to ruling as well as opposition. When in opposition they try to put the
Govt. on the mat by exposing the scandal. To counter the opposition, the
ruling pary opens the skeleton cupboard of the opposition when they ruled
the state.

The answer to this is not about blaming YS or CBN. Let us try to lobby(or
whatever the means we have as citizens) to reduce the role of govrnment in
most of the projects etc.(Privitization and transperency)

2)
Role of PVN for AP:
a) Due to his libralization thrust, AP along with all other states were able
to get large number of investments.
b) CBN used PVs office for most of the funds that AP got during the early
days of CBN's rule. Due to the disatorous economic decisions of NTR, AP was
on the verge of defaulting its payments. Reserve bank asked the FIs not to
hounor AP's check. That was the state of economy in AP during erstwhile
populist(and drama based) rule of NTR. After CBN's takeover(good thing
happened for AP), he was able to use PVN's office to his advantage in tiding
the financial crisis.
3) During PVN rule, most of the railways investments haapend in AP and
Karnataka. AP is the state that has no metregauge trains anymore. Due to
that thrust, SCR is the railway zone that has largest percentage of
electrified rail network.

How can anyone compare a minister with a PM. PM's work for the country, not
a state or district.
We are all enjoying the fruits of economic liberalization policies started
by him. Give the man his due.
